The lovely couple held an intimate wedding ceremony at sunset on a Cocos Island beach. They returned to their home in Australia, sun-kissed and married and held a wedding celebration for their friends in a park surrounded by tall Eucalyptus trees.

We wanted the wedding ring design to reflect both occasions, so we chose to capture the essence of the unique environments associated with each ceremony.

The special ring was designed and made after the wedding ceremonies, so we had the luxury of working with photos and emotional reflections from this time.

The couple shared beautiful, joyful images of their barefoot wedding on a tropical beach, surrounded by close family. To honour this moment, we chose to capture the view up the beach from their perspective, engraving the perceived view on a strip of gold that wrapped around the inside of the ring. I incorporated a setting sun and sand to add depth and atmosphere to the engraving.

Two raised eucalyptus leaves wrap around the exterior of the ring, symbolising the couple and the celebration they shared with friends upon returning from the Cocos Islands.

The leaves form a sculptural, flowing shape that gracefully wraps around the elegant ring.
