A hand engraved drawing looking across the water from his family’s holiday cabin that is found deep in the forests of Sth East Gippsland, Australia.

I wanted to capture how the bush runs thick and wild right to the edge of the estuary with the sounds of birds and wind echoing across the brackish water.

The pattern and layers of coloured gold on the outside of his ring mirror the pattern of coloured shapes found on eucalyptus tree trunks and branches.

A section of the pattern matches the shape of the backwater and an Australian sapphire is set where the house is situated on the map.

We chose a hand engraved drawing of eucalyptus leaves and flowers to wrap the inside of her ring.

The outside of the ring we featured sapphires that capture the unique blue-green hues of Eucalyptus leaves along with sparkly diamonds,

Running beneath the pretty constellation of gems, I recreated the same Eucalyptus bark pattern in coloured gold as seen in his ring.  I also added a small section of the backwater with an Australian sapphires set where the house is situated.
